Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF)
- On 09 September 2022, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal attended the first in-person Ministerial meeting of the India-Pacific Economic Forum (IPEF) in Los Angeles.
- The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) was launched jointly by the US and other parmer countries of the Indo-Pacific region on May 23, 2022 in Tokyo Japan.
- The 14 members of the IPEF are-Australia, Brunei, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and the US.
