Indian Navy’s First Training Squadron (1TS) – INS Tir and ICGS Veera completed their long distance training deployment to Manama, Bahrain on 16 October 24.
A delegation from 1TS including Sea Trainees visited Naval Support Facility, Bahrain and also gained insight into Task Force 59.

Over 446 butterfly species have been recorded in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park (KNP), making it the second-highest in India after Namdapha National Park, Arunachal Pradesh.
Kaziranga is located in Assam’s Golaghat and Nagaon districts.
It is the largest undisturbed area in the Brahmaputra Valley floodplain.
The park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.
The Diffalu River flows through the core tiger habitat, while the Moradifalu River runs along its southern boundary.

Manipur celebrated the annual Mera-Hou-Chongba festival, a cultural event symbolizing the state’s commitment to unity between its hill and valley communities.
It is observed annually on the 15th lunar day of the Mera month in the Meitei calendar.
The event began with a flag-hoisting ceremony led by titular king and MP Leishemba Sanajaoba at Sana Konung.
Traditional rituals, Men Tongba and Yenkhong Tamba, were performed at Kangla Uttra.

The international boundaries of China border the sanctuary to the north and Pakistan to the west.
