5th State Food Safety Index
Recently, the Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare has released the 5th State Food Safety Index for the year 2022-2023, on the occasion of World Food Safety Day at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
About 5th State Food Safety Index(SFSI)
- Released on June 7, 2023 (World Food Safety Day)
- Released by – Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
- First SFSI was released on June 7, 2019

- Compliance
- Food Testing- Infrastructure
- Training & Capacity Building
- Consumer Empowerment
- Improvement in SFSI Rank
